Hafjell Alpine Centre
Hafjell Alpine centre is located at the entrance of the Gudbrandsdalen valley, 15 km north of Lillehammer. The Olympic trail network has been extended and disposes 30 slopes offering winner experiences for skiers of all levels.
15 lifts, including the Gondola, serves the 835 vertical metres from the base to the top of the mountain. Hafjell`s trademark are long runs, excellent snow and sunny climate. The snow system assists the weather in producing good conditions and covers about 80 % of total terrain. A normal seson starts mid November and closes late April.
Six restaurants are located ski in/ski out to the slopes. The guest service at the base gives you a sense of welcome and assists the guests in making reservations in ski school, child care and ski rental as well as additional information.
Hafjell Alpine Centre is the 3. biggest resort in Norway, but is the choice nr 1 for those who prefer twin tip skis or snowboards. The resort can also bost the most extensive flood light system in Norway, lighting 7 km of runs and prolongs the skiday 3 night a week.
The floodlight also allows other non-ski activities in night time such as tobogganning and snowmobiles for kids.
